Some of the amenities you will enjoy are a guest business center with printer and fax service, access to the Lodging fitness center, snacks and sundries for sale, and free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Dyess Inn is located inside the base, where customers get the safety of staying on base while having immediate access to on-base dining, shopping and entertainment and also access to Abilene’s food and entertainment.

Visiting Quarters (VQs): $99.00

Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLFs): $107.00

Distinguished Visiting Quarters (DVQs): $107.00

TLP (Pet friendly TLF): 

$107 + $10 pet fee

Violation of “No Pet Policy” – $150.00 fee and removal of pet
Violation of “No smoking Policy” – $150.00 fee and required to check out of lodging
“Excess cleaning” fee – $75.00 – $250.00

A late check out fee of 1 night stay will be charged after 11:00 AM

Safety and Responsibilities

Housekeeping Responsibilities

Our housekeeping staff provides the following guest services to make your stay as comfortable as possible. However, the staff cannot vacuum the floor or make the bed if there are personal items left in either of these areas.

The following daily services are provided to guests that are staying for more than one night:

  • Make the bed
  • Clean the bathroom: change out towels, bath mats, and washcloths that are placed on the floor in the bathroom. If you wish to reuse your towels and washcloths, please leave them hanging on the towel bar. To reuse your bathmat, hang it over the side of the tub.
  • Empty the trash container
  • Replenish toiletry type amenities when 1/3 of the product remains. You may request these items from the front desk or housekeeping staff.
  • Dust and vacuum the room as necessary

For guests staying longer than 1 week, linens are changed every five days. If you wish to schedule a specific day for your full service, please contact our front desk staff at 696.1876 or our housekeeping lead staff at 696.1892.

Due to security and facility maintenance, the “Do Not Disturb” sign may not be displayed for longer than 2 days. On the third consecutive day the sign is displayed, management or housekeeping will enter your room unless prior arrangements have been made. For guests displaying the sign early in the morning, please remove it by noon to receive service for that day.

Our housekeeping staff must enter Pet Friendly rooms on a daily basis. Please refer to our guest pet policy, signed on arrival for more information regarding this policy, or contact our front desk staff.

The housekeeping staff will provide the following services to rooms that have been checked out of:

  • Change linens, make bed Clean the bathroom
  • Change out towels, bath mats, and washcloths
  • Empty the trash containers
  • Replenish amenities
  • Dust and vacuum the room

Linen/Towels

For additional blankets, towels, or sheets, contact housekeeping at 696.1892 during duty hours, or the front desk (“0”) after duty hours. Towels are changed daily unless these items are hung on your towel bars and linens changed weekly. Please do not damage or remove these items from your room.

Guest Safety

Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions:

If you need to leave money or valuables in your room, please use the safe provided.

Always lock your door, even if you are just leaving for a few minutes.

Do not allow persons in your room without first verifying identification. All rooms have a peep hole in the door. If there is any doubt about a person’s identity, please contact the front desk.

Safeguard your key card. Be sure to leave it at the front desk upon checkout. At checkout, it is always safer to drop your key card at the front desk; however, you are welcome to leave it in your room. Please do not leave it in the door as someone could enter your room. Any missing or damaged items would be the responsibility of the registered guest. Do not give your key card to others.

If the lock does not work, contact the front desk for immediate repairs.

Secure all locking devices provided on windows and doors at all times.

Do not keep valuables inside parked vehicles.

Do not reveal your name or room number to strangers.

Do not discuss plans of being absent from your room in front of strangers.

Do not leave luggage unattended.
