Honor Guard Services

Exceeding Your Expectations

Honor Guard

We provide military funeral honors and military ceremonies throughout 38 Texas counties and the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. We also provide honors for Active, Retiree, and Veteran service members during ceremonious occasions. We can be seen at promotions, retirements, and funerals. These services range from the presentation of colors, and firing teams.

Please understand that funeral honors take precedence over all other Honor Guard activities. There is always a chance that non-funeral requests will be denied or canceled if the Honor Guard becomes overtasked with funeral ceremonies.

Funeral honors requests can be e-mailed to the Flight Support office at 7bwhg@us.af.mil or called in to 325.696.5532.

Mortuary Affairs

We are equipped to support families through military funerals and help them understand what benefits are available. Our key services include the handling of funeral operations, the organization of the Honor Guard, travel plans of fallen military members, and financial expenses. It is our honor and duty to ensure that the family is taken care of and that those who have passed are treated with the utmost respect and honor.

Funeral honors requests can be e-mailed to the Flight Support office at 7bwhg@us.af.mil or called in to 325.696.5532.

Casualty / Survivor Benefit Program (Sbp)

As the Dyess Casualty Assistance Representative, we provide comprehensive casualty assistance to both retired and active duty family members in the event of a service member’s death. This assistance includes filing for benefits and entitlements from the service member’s branch of service, governmental agencies, non-governmental agencies, and the Department of Veteran Affairs.
