Is this just for airmen or dependents as well?

Due to delayed reporting, all testing tomorrow, Tuesday, 19 Feb., including WAPS and e-exams, is pushed to a 1300 start time. ... See MoreSee Less

CLEP Testing for active duty is available for free at McMurry University (S.14th and Sayles Blvd) while we await the opening of our on-base National Test Center (NTC).

DISCUSSION: Our on-base CLEP/DSST NTC is currently in transition; Coastline Community College terminated their MOU, and McMurry University has been approved as the new NTC sponsor. During this transition, there will be a slight pause in CLEP testing on base as McMurry finalizes all the legalities to take over the NTC, but there is an avenue for Dyess members to take CLEP exams if needed during this transition. Effective immediately, active duty members desiring to take a CLEP exam will follow these steps:

1. Contact the Ed Center for records review, Library study resources, and instructions for DANTES funding/CLEP registration
2. Member will be provided contact information for Ms Sandy Lane, CLEP Test Coordinator at McMurry University
3. Ms Lane will provide sign-up instructions and testing location for her CLEP Test process (DSSTs are not currently available at McMurry)
4. McMurry University has graciously agreed to waive the $15 Admin Fee, so students will NOT pay out-of-pocket for CLEP exams taken off-base (except for retakes)
