Do I need a military Id to get into the air show?

No, the air show is open to the public. We can’t wait to see you out there.

How much does it cost to get in?

General Admission is free.

How do i become a sponsor of the air show?

You can become a sponsor of the air show by reaching out to out sponsorship coordinator at 325.696.1180. You can also see out sponsorship packages here.  Sponsorship

How do we access the air show?

All air show attendees (DoD cardholders and general public) will use the Dyess Main Gate located by the Dyess Visitor’s Center or the Tye Gate (Dyess Commercial Gate) located on Military Dr. during the following hours. After entering the base, you will be ushered to the air show parking area.

8 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Arnold and Tye Gates inbound traffic only

11 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Arnold and Tye Gates both inbound/outbound

3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Arnold gate outbound only; Tye Gate inbound and outbound

Will there be seating provided?

Premium Box Seating is available to purchase. Chairs, Restrooms and Concessions Stands will be provided in this section. 

what time does the air show start?

The Air Show is scheduled to take place April 19th and 20th. A more detailed schedule will be available closer to the air show. Be sure to check back for more updates. 

Are tents/canopies allowed at the air show?

Tents and canopies are not allowed at the air show. We recommend you bring umbrellas, sun hats, and sun screen.

What to Bring
  • Sunscreen
  • Ear protection (plugs and headphones)
  • Sealed water bottles/reusable water bottles (no cases)
  • Sealed ice packs (no loose ice permitted)
  • Fanny packs and purses (will be subject to search)
  • Cell phones/cameras and camcorders
  • Folding chairs and camping chairs
  • Pre-packaged and/or sealed snacks
  • Diaper bags (will be subject to search),
  • Baby food
  • Medications/valid prescriptions
  • Strollers (no wagons)
  • Umbrellas (handheld)
  • Wheelchairs
  • Blankets
What Not to Bring
  • Weapons (regardless of permit) including firearms, knives, replica or toy weapons (including pocketknives and multi-tools are subject to removal)
  • Coolers (exception: baby food/medication/small size 1Ox7x7 inches)
  • Ammunition or any form of explosives
  • This is a non-smoking airshow: to include eCigs/vape pens Spark producing devices (ex: lighters, matches, etc.)
  • Pets (except service animals assisting those with disabilities)
  • Tents, portable or temporary awnings
  • Large lawn chairs (exceptions: small folding camping chairs)
  • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades
  • Mace, pepper spray, and personal tasers/stun guns
  • No outside alcohol
  • Laser pointers
  • Digital scanners
  • Glass containers
  • Illegal drugs/no controlled substances
  • Grills or fireworks
  • Excessive storage items such as briefcases, duffel bags and backpacks: must be smaller than 1OxlOxlO inches (exceptions: diaper bags, small purses, small camera cases and fanny packs)
  • Drones
Interested in Becoming a Vendor?

We have contracted with a Master Concessionaire that will coordinate all vendor requests. Please contact them directly at the Master Concessionaire’s website www.nationalconcession.com  and click upper right corner Vendor inquiries to fill out an application.

If you are not wanting to sell anything at the air show but still want you business to attend you can be a sponsor of the MWR aspects of the air show.
