Flower Arrangement 101

A team-up between the Dyess Library and Hangar Center

This year’s Library Summer Reading Program theme is “Plant a Seed, Read!” With that theme in mind, the Library and Hangar Center want to team up to offer a Flower Arrangement Program where participants will learn about the different meanings behind flower types and colors. They will also learn about the tools and process that florists use to craft amazing flower arrangements that can be used as gifts, table centerpieces, and more. Participants will get hands-on learning by designing their own bud vase flower arrangement during the program.

Working with the floral shop located on base in the BX shopping center, the program will be led by Mattie Lozano of Floral Expressions.
