RENTAL POLICIES

RENTAL RESERVATIONS

Reservations are required. Reservations must be made 30 days or less prior to the date of pick-up. Full payment is taken upon time of reservation. Pick up and Return appointments will be made at the time of reservation for all rental reservations. Items can be rented for a maximum of 30 consecutive days.

RENTAL PICK UPS

Customers signing for receipt of equipment will be responsible for condition of listed equipment. Customers must be prepared to spend up to 30/45 minutes for safety training/ familiarization training and equipment checks.

RENTAL RETURNS

Equipment Yard closes 30 minutes before close of business, no items will be checked out or returned after yard closure. Items returned after 4:00 pm will be assessed an additional one day fee. All items must be dropped off in the yard during business hours and properly checked in by an ODR staff. Fees will be assessed for any item left unattended. Customer is responsible for cleaning rental equipment prior to return to Outdoor Recreation.

CLEANING FEES

A minimum $25 cleaning fee will be assessed per item if not returned clean.

DAMAGE FEES

Customers are responsible for the repairs of damaged equipment to include labor or replacement of lost/damaged equipment. Items lost will be replaced with a new item at customer expense.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to pick-up date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made inside the 48 hour window are non-refundable.

MOTORIZED BOATS

All reservations must be made 48 hours prior to the date of pick-up. A current Texas Boater Safety Card is required to rent a boat. Texas Boater Safety Cards can be obtained at www.boat-ed.com/texas. Customer must have knowledge of the equipment. Customer must demonstrate and have knowledge of hitching/unhitching item.

CAMPERS

All reservations must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to the date of pick-up. Customer must have knowledge of the equipment. Campers are Winterized during Off-Season. Customer must demonstrate and have knowledge of hitching/unhitching item. Campers requires a brake control box.

TRAILERS

Customer must demonstrate and have knowledge of hitching/unhitching item. Double axle trailers requires a brake control box.
