Calling all prospective Air Force dependent students: There is still time to submit your application for the 2018-2019 academic year are now open! Deadline to apply is April 30th!

Grants ranging from $500 to $4,000 are awarded to eligible Air Force dependents each year. The specific amount awarded correlates to a student’s particular level of financial need.

This morning Col. Brandon Parker, 7th Bomb Wing commander, and Col. David Owens, 317th Airlift Wing commander, showed their support for Military Saves Week by signing a Military Saves Proclamation. This event will run Feb. 26 - Mar. 3 and supports building financial resiliency for Airmen and their families.

26 February-2 March marks the 2018 season for Military Saves Week. Military
Saves is a DoD program dedicated to promoting financial literacy for the
well-being of our airmen, their families, veterans, and civilian personnel.

Attached are the events for the week, and we would like to invite everyone
to attend at the Hangar Center for any or all classes. Special guest
speakers include the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, the USAA
Education Foundation, and Bank of America. We are also holding our first
every Spouses' Financial Forum.

For classes marked Dorms to Apartment, it is mandatory to call the Airman &
Family Readiness Center, 325-696-5999, to sign up as there is limited space
for each day.

Due to the government shutdown, the Airman & Family Readiness Center will still operate from 0730-1630 Monday-Friday, but will have limited services.
